The Enduring Consensus Cervical Cancer Screening and Management Guidelines effort, a consensus process including 19 clinical, patient representative, and federal partner organizations to provide regular updates to the 2019 ASCCP Risk-Based Management Consensus Guidelines for Abnormal Cervical Cancer Screening Tests and Cancer Precursors. The Enduring Guidelines process begins with review of new evidence from population-based and other studies and leads to updated guidelines that continually improve clinical management.
We are putting forward draft guidelines on extended genotyping for public comment. HPV genotyping is defined as the identification of HPV types. Partial genotyping guidelines for HPV 16 and 18 were previously published in the 2019 guidelines. Extended genotyping refers to the use of additional carcinogenic genotypes for risk stratification. PLEASE READ THE ATTACHED GUIDELINES DOCUMENT HERE. If you would like to comment on any of the proposed guidelines please do so below.
