Teresa M. Darragh, MD is Professor of Clinical Pathology, UCSF and a pathologist in UCSF Medical Center at Mt. Zion’s Department of Pathology and Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences. Her primary clinical and research interests are focused on HPV-related anogenital tract disease.  

Dr. Darragh is board certified in Anatomic Pathology with an added qualification in Cytopathology. In addition to her clinical work with UCSF’s Cytology Service, she is also an attending physician at UCSF’s Dysplasia Clinic.

Alan G. Waxman, MD, MPH is professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. He is also director of the colposcopy clinics at UNM. 

Dr. Waxman has been an active teacher of colposcopy for over 20 years. He has been on the faculty and a co-director of ASCCP's Comprehensive Colposcopy Courses. Dr. Waxman is chairman of ASCCP's Assessment Committee and co-chair of the Committee on International Education and Humanitarian Outreach.  He is President of ASCCP for the 2012-2013 term and has served on the Board of Directors for a number of years.  He has been course director for colposcopy training programs sponsored by ACOG and the Indian Health Service. 

Dr. Waxman has served in the past on the Federal Advisory Committee of the National Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program (BBCEDP) and continues to be active on the medical advisory committees of the New Mexico and Navajo Nation BCCEDP. Dr. Waxman has written numerous journal articles and textbook chapters on colposcopy and cervical cancer screening.

Dr. Mayeaux is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine, a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, and a Fellow of the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology.  He is also a member of the Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics.

Richard S. Guido, MD is Associate Professor, Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology 
and Reproductive Sciences at Magee-Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he began pursuit of a master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering. He subsequently matriculated from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry where he received his MD degree. 

 Dr. Guido completed an internship in general surgery at the Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester prior to entering his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Pittsburgh, Magee-Womens Hospital. He subsequently joined the faculty in the gynecology specialties division. He is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Certified IRB Professional.


     
 

Michael A. Gold, MD

Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Oklahoma School of Community Medicine in Tulsa, Oklahoma.



Michael A. Gold, MD practices gynecologic oncology at the Tulsa Cancer Institute and is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Oklahoma School of Community Medicine in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Dr. Gold received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed his residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, also in Philadelphia. After residency, Dr. Gold completed a three year fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Dr. Gold is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American College of Surgeons. He is an active member of the Gynecologic Oncology Group, the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists, and the American College of Radiology Imaging Network. He has been a board member at large of the American Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology for the past 6 years.



     


Anna-Barbara Moscicki, MD

Professor of Pediatrics at UCSF, and Associate Director, Division of Adolescent Medicine

Anna-Barbara Moscicki, MD is Professor of Pediatrics at UCSF, and Associate Director, Division of Adolescent Medicine.  She is Board Certified in Adolescents Medicine. Dr. Moscicki’s career has focused on adolescent gynecology and sexually transmitted disease research. She has over 100 publications in the areas of adolescence, sexually transmitted diseases, specifically human papillomavirus (HPV) and HIV. Dr. Moscicki has been the PI of a natural history study of HPV in adolescents and young women since 1990, one of the longest running cohort studies of HPV. She has served on numerous NIH and national committees. She was involved in the development of the new guidelines for cervical cancer screening and triage of abnormal cytology in adolescent and young women.
