High Resolution Anoscopy (HRA)
Is this educational activity right for me?
The ASCCP High Resolution Anoscopy (HRA) course best serves those physicians and advanced practice clinicians who are participating in the health care of MSM, men and women with HIV disease, other at-risk groups, and women with HPV-related disease. This course is appropriate for health care providers in many fields, including family practice, internal medicine and infectious disease, gastroenterology, general surgery, colo-rectal surgery, gynecology and pathology. Advanced colposcopy practitioners and those interested in the didactic and procedural training specific to HPV-related anal disease and HRA will benefit from this course. The HRA course is designed for those who have basic proficiency in the practice of colposcopy. The faculty of the HRA course strongly recommends that anyone having no or limited prior colposcopy experience attend the first days of the Comprehensive Colposcopy course and the special non-CME workshop on the basics of How to Use a Colposcope given immediately prior to course.
